another lovely day

not being facetious
really was
first
because it rained

here
in the Holy Land
rain's a blessing from G-d

swam
not in a puddle
in the Neve Yaakov pool
saunaed and steamed, too

and then a neighbor
dropped me off
in front of a store
that had the cutest clothes
so
I called my daughter
to ask
what to buy
for Hallelie

then
met a couple of friends
for lunch
and chat
must do it
much more often

then
sopping wet
picked Hallelie up
luckily
ride arranged
but she still got soaked
sitting on my wet coat

read and played and danced
and cooked and served
just like a grandmother should

and then
home
here
eyes on the screen

but
it is time
to zzzzzzzzzzzz
