you need a kitchen scale
just keep the same proportions by weight
great with whole wheat flour and brown or demara sugar
can be doubled or tripled
100 grams sugar
200 grams margarine
300 grams flour
flavorings, or chocolate chips or sprinkles, or chopped nuts or seeds or any combination
melt margarine in microwave
mix dry ingredients
add margarine and flavorings, extras
mix with large spoon
spread evenly, about a centimeter or less than half an inch thick
bake in oven, cake temperature
take out when just starting to brown
cut and cool
if they don't harden, return to oven for a few minutes
keeps well in old-fashioned cookie tin
Let me know how they turn out and the varieties of flavoring. I just made them with white and dark chocolate chips.
