Getting Ready for Thanksgiving
After 35 years in Israel, meaning 35 years after leaving the states, this is the first year we're part of a Thanksgiving dinner, including turkey. And so to get ready, here's a great Thanksgiving show!!!
True... I think if the girls weren't in school I would do it. I like turkey! My dh will be working though and the girls have school the next day so it sort of takes the fun out of it.
We're all old, ok, older. They youngest child of the bunch is the hostess's, and she's in high school and used to her mother's entertaining. Empty nest has its advantages.
Hey, enjoy!!!
ReplyDeleteI thought, when I came to Israel, that I would want to celebrate.
Nah, lost interest quickly.
But I am happy you are going to have a great time.
Eat some stuffing for me!!
It's just a good excuse for friends to get together without Shabbat and chag restrictions.
