Is the latest musical instrument a ... cellphone? Apparently Paul Freeman thinks so. He even commissioned music for them. Concertino for Cellular Phones and Symphony Orchestra by David N. Baker, a professor of music at Indiana University and a prolific composer composed the Concertino for Cellular Phones and Symphony Orchestra the music for the Chicago Sinfonietta.
They gave signals to the audience when to have their phones ring.
Now I have an idea. Maybe I should make a "turn phones off" ceremony at the beginning of each lesson, since the phones usually make a bye bye sound when being turned off. It could be fun!
