In which season were these pictures shot?

Here are the results of the previous contest:
Neither Ezzie nor Isramom got it exactly right, close but. In my title I gave away the city, so it shouldn't have been all that hard. It was taken from Rechov Shimoni looking over Sderot Herzog. Maybe if I had been holding the camera more steadily... I'll take you out to coffee, not dinner, ok? Ezzie, let's see you come here to Israel for your prize!
end of spring/beginning of summer? (like before it gets too hot?)
ReplyDeleteI'm not saying right or wrong, just what are you basing your answer on?
ReplyDeleteplants are all nice and green and 'full', not dried out from the sun yet. so i may be totally wrong and it could be winter even and those trees don't lose their leaves!
ReplyDeleteI would guess early summer. The trees are nicely green, and the peacock looks like he is having a nice stroll in nice weather.
ReplyDeleteInteresting, but...
ReplyDeletelet's get some more guesses,
need 'em.
bb, very interesting... what white box?
ReplyDeletethe pictures aren't in the same direction, if that hint helps
I would guess late summer early fall-- the flowers are still blooming, but not profusely and the leaves have started to change colors and dry up, but they haven't dry up so much that their leaves have fallen off-- just a little parched and tired
ReplyDeleteI totally forgot to actually comment on this. I think it's in December/January time, based on the green... :)
ReplyDeleteG-d willing, bli neder, I'll announce the winner on Sunday, and then I'll have something else for which I'll need your help.
ReplyDeleteSo keep your guesses coming in!
Well it the picture with the slide it looks real nice out. It is not raining and I see no kids playing. It must be cold out. Of course it is possible that they are in school but I am guessing it is too cold. Just vibes that I get. Then there are still leaves so it is not yet fall. I am guessing it is just a cold day in the summer. Kids decided to stay inside.
ReplyDeleteTO explain... it has to be after the rain has started. Everything is blooming - in Israel, that happens Dec/Jan time.
ReplyDeleteKeep the guesses coming, some are really close, but...
ReplyDeleteNext week the grand winner and then I'll be having a poll for you to vote for...
