Not like when I was a kid!
I never planned on being a working mother, but it somehow happened. I ened up working part time, usually very close to home, so it didn't really affect my family. My married daughter is a working mother, and it's not easy. "Supermom" isn't all that simple. In the states mothers are getting organized in a society never known for its tolerance of kids.
Israel has some advantages for working mothers.
maternity leave--12 weeks at about 90% pay, if you've worked a certain amount of months previously
