Do we need advanced laboratories to choose safe toys?
Lead paint and other dangerous things are getting more and more common in the toy business, since China is the production site for many internationally respected toy businesses and the site of the bargain toys, too.
The Chinese don't have reliable safety laws.
Beware!
It's getting really hard to be a doting grandmother!
Batya, I'm sorry for putting this here- I wanted to send this to you privately but could not find an email address for you.
ReplyDeleteI just remembered that I am supposed to host the next edition of the KCC at the end of July. I'm so sorry to do this to you, but I must bow out. We just made our vacation plans and will be in the US most of July and August- and my parents do not own a computer. So as you can imagine, it would be a bit hard for me to do anything blog-related.
I'm so sorry to do this to you. I was looking forward to hosting the carnival and would definitely love to do it sometime in the future.
Lead and other safety issues- that's what happens when companies are too cheap.
ReplyDeleteRr, ok, that's the reason I can't do it. I'm sure we'll find someone. Why don't you post a request on your blog?
