New York! New York! 2007, #2
Last night I had trouble falling asleep, so I unpacked a bit, which I hadn't done before Shabbat. Then I slept about 3 hours and transferred to the couch, where I dozed a bit more before the alarm went off. I took a double dose of the mena--whatsayoucallits. Today I must stay busy, no napping and then maybe....
As much as I love living in Shiloh, in Israel, I can't deny that New York City, especially Manhattan, is one of the most photogenic places in the world.
The day after I landed, I went in to "the city" with my almost teenaged niece.
Yes, "almost." We just had to admire the dolls and all and the Disney one. And wouldn't you know it, she told me that the doll store had great wc's. I'm an expert when it comes to Jerusalem, but not "the city."
After she an my sister returned to their western home, I was back in "the city" many times and enjoyed Bryant Park.
