Because I Never Planned On Working...
I never planned my retirement. And now life's going to get more complicated. It never occurred to me that we'd need my income, not when we were young and not now. As modestly as I've been living, I guess it hasn't been modest enough.
I just read a NYTimes op-ed, which brings up some very good points.
What do you think?
What do we owe our kids?
What do we owe ourselves?
Do overly helpful parents stunt or stimulate their kids?
