I trust that you can read my sign.
I've been trying out various Megillat Ester readings. The first was at neighbors. It was quiet, but the reading wasn't clear. I couldn't make out the words and had trouble following.
So, this morning I went to a small shul, call it the "shtibel." The reading was very good, clear, dramatic. The place was noisy for my needs, but I got there early and found a seat in the back corner.
I still haven't decided where to go tonight. I planned on walking down the hill to neighbors in a different neighborhood, but the blessed rain has returned.
The way you post reads now it sounds like you are going to hea it three times. Dd you add moe to the post at the top?
ReplyDeleteI think smalle places can actually be bette, as long as they know wht to do.
I am kind of surprised that the steibel was loud and clear but maybe that's because they know everybody s supposed to be able to hear it.
I you want to talk about trouble, this morning a woman sudddenly discovered her bag two small bags frrom stores one insde the other contaning her keys (regular and car) and megillas and hamantashen and a Siddur was missing but somebody did make a good guess a 10 yea old or so boy who had taken it nd she got it back. It may have been mistaken for a bag of shaloch manos, so don't put important bags in a place everyone is mingling or rely on someone much older to "watch" it.
You have two days of Purim?
