My Little Gmach, "Loaner"
It's customary in traditional Jewish circles to have a "gmach " for all sorts of needs. A gmach is a fund, collection, of something that gets lent out or leased for minimal money. Sometimes it's money lent at easy terms.
I have an extra pair of reading glasses. Friends know about them, and sometimes, like today, I get a call:
"My glasses are broken/missing. Can I borrow a pair?"
Shalom! Did you know that there is a g'mach for g'machim (I think it's in Jerusalem)? Someone compiled a list to make it easier to find the right g'mach. What a country!
Shalom!

Thank G-d! Remember the good that goes on here. Sometimes we get too bogged down in the bad stuff.
