The "Apple of My Eye"
I inspected my apple tree on Friday, and this is all I found.
Not much of a crop, but at least one more than last year. Hmmm... what can I do?
"what can I do? " - start a little compost pile directly underneath the tree? Save vegetable scraps and coffee grinds in a little bucket in the kitchen. Dig a little hole by the tree. Put scraps in the whole. Cover with dirt. Repeat weekly.

ReplyDeleteLeora, that may help for next season I guess, thanks.
ReplyDeleteIf you do composting with a grandchild, it's even more fun! Just planted some with my daughter. We both got so dirty.
ReplyDeleteLeora, I don't see the grandkids or have them over often enough to do such a project with them.
