When Spellcheck Doesn't Help

I can't tell you if the French in the sign was spelled correctly, but I'm pretty sure that these little cakes aka croissants are supposed to fly.

The Hebrew is קרואסון ריק, Croissant reik, empty croissant. 

Can you think of a better caption than min?

"Empty?  Is this the bakery's way of admitting that these are just empty calories?"
