The other night I came home from work hankering for a cooked fruit dish, so I quickly cut up an apple and an orange, placed it in a small pot with some water, not much, and cooked it up.
The orange spiced up the apple. And it ended up being absolutely delicious.
The fruits had enough natural sugar, too. They cooked up quickly and hit the spot. I highly recommend this simple, easy to make dessert or just "comfort food."
I wonder if this could be done in miceowave...which would make it faster and able to do in hospital/ office. Anyone have experience?
