For this year's Rosh Chodesh Adar Bet, we had a choice between Thursday and Friday for our Women's Prayers at Shiloh Hakeduma, Tel Shiloh, the site where the Biblical Chana prayed successfully for a son.
I polled some of the "regulars" to see which day is more popular/convenient. Of course there wasn't a 100% agreement. Both days have their problems for our busy modern women. But fewer work on Friday, as if preparing the house for Shabbat isn't work... But don't forget that Rosh Chodesh is the traditional "Women's Holiday," so we're supposed to do something special to treat ourselves. And what could be more special than praying to Gd in the holy site of Shiloh, where the Mishkan, Tabernacle rested for three-hundred-sixty-nine years as the focus of Jewish Prayer?
