Cross-posted on Shiloh Musings
אֱמֹר Emor, Speak! This week is a double, a combined Kosher Cooking Carnival and Havel Havelim.
They are the two most veteran Jewish blog carnivals. Havel Havelim is posted weekly by different Jewish bloggers all over the world, and The Kosher Cooking Carnival is a monthly carnival posted around Rosh Chodesh, the beginning of the Jewish month. They each have a facebook page, where we keep track of things, like who's the next host. KCC's facebook page and HH's facebook page. Bloggers are requested to send their links to the upcoming host, and the hosts are also expected to do some looking for enrich and vary their blog carnival. And readers are supposed to share the links and the carnivals.Next week's Havel Havelim will be posted by Adventures in AliyahLand. It should be very special, since this will be her first Yom Ha'atzmaut in Israel as an Israeli! Send your links to Jay3fer at gmail dot com.
When I find myself hosting both blog carnivals, and their "due dates" are close, I combine them. that's what I'm doing now. I also like to just list the posts and mix up the food and other ones. Enjoy, read, comment and share.
