Oy, "don't wait" is SO true. I waited after university... and then, after the divorce, my first husband wouldn't let his kids leave the country. Even if it seems like you could go anytime, you never know how trapped you could end up - thank you, RivkA, for this reminder. More recent musings on this theme.
The best thing my husband and I ever did was making aliyah 2 months after the wedding. We never would have been "rich" enough if we had stayed in the states. And to think of the children we wouldn't have been able to educate...
