Shalom! #1 Tiger 1:Fan 0 #2 "I'll just hang my pacifier on the fence so that it doesn't get dirty while I play" For all non-Israelis, it is the custom to hang lost pacifiers, gloves, etc. on a nearby fence in expectation that the owner will pass and claim the lost object.
