white sky
sky's white
one big cloud
like dirty cotton balls
not
pure snow
mountains
in the distance
blurred
air's
still warm
indecisive winds
confusion
ambivalence
winter'd
rather not
but
summer's
gone
past its best
over ripe
not good
loss of appetite
as we wait
for
clouds to form
from
indistinguishable
mass

It has been very dry here in South Dakota this fall, also. Maybe some snow this weekend.
Thanks G-d, the rains have begun, and they should continue until the season's over and we have enough. Should be for a blessing.
