Building For Jews In The Land Of Israel

Neighbors bought this house, and now they're expanding it. There's a terrible housing shortage in Shiloh and in many of the Jewish Communities in YESHA. There haven't been enough new housing starts in recent years, so people are competing for the few houses on the market.

Yeah, there's a terrible housing shortage where I live. Well, sort of. We are surrounded by countryside that can't be built on, and most of our town sites have been built on. So do we have a problem? Well, people don't move here if they can't afford it. Or they move to a cheaper part of town. Or they move to another town without such restrictions. Or they don't move at all. Of course, people still die and people still move out, so there is a lot of flexibility in the housing market.
I'm not really sure what your problem is? Do you expect the state to build all your houses for you? Do you expect there to be a house for everybody who wants one, at the price they can afford? If so, you are wrong. You don't really have a housing shortage, you have bad expectations.
