Rainier Than Winter

We had a very, very dry winter, cursedly dry. And for some strange reason, just a couple of days after Yom Zikaron, Israel's Memorial Day and Yom Ha'Atzma'ut, Israeli Independence Day the skies have opened. G-d is giving us rain. It's not unheard of, but it is rare to have so much rain after Passover.

Yesterday was hot and muggy.

very muggy yesterday morning

It has been dry and dusty. I'm glad that the rain is washing the muck and dust from the koltei shemesh, the solar panels that absorb the sun's rays to heat the water. I turned on the electric water heater last night, so the timer would make sure we have hot water this morning.

Have a nice a save day everyone.

Glad you have rain - hope it doesn't mess stuff up. I suppose that's the way with nature. One can never be sure.

Better than no rain.
