...and the pendulum swings...

I was a vegetarian for 25 years. Most of the time I ate eggs and dairy; though I was vegan for a couple of short spells.

Then a couple of years ago I got "hungry," and I resumed eating meat, fish and poultry... with a passion... everyday.

I had absolutely no digestive problems when I went back to all that heavy animal protein. But now, I no longer feel the need to eat it daily.

Strange how the body changes...

I'm a card-carrying carnivore, but I certainly have no desire to eat meat or chicken every day. Everything in moderation, as they say :-)

In the evening, I usually enjoy a light Israeli supper of cheese, salad, bread, and sometimes eggs. Yum.

Right after I resumed eating meat etc I discovered that my B12 had dropped dangerously low. Last blood test was super high, so now I no longer need all that protein.
Moderation for sure.
