Sometimes Even The "Scene-Stealer" Refuses The Spotlight

From the time my three year old granddaughter was born, you could always cheer her up by taking her picture or putting her on the stage as center of attention.  A couple of months ago at my son's wedding, the little star even upstaged the bride.  But yesterday, when I was babysitting she refused to let me take her picture.

I guess she was just being a very contrary three year old, which does happen.  Yes, it certainly does when they are three.  I just wonder how long this stage will last.

And then she had great fun looking at the pictures and laughing. It was a big joke for her.

LOL. I so relate to this with my two young grandies.

Emmie is six, and still is acts as if she doesn't want her picture taken. But, when it is, she wants to see it right away.

Cute shots, precious.

Yes, that's how she wanted to pose.

Sometimes the phase doesn't pass. We have about 10 years' worth of exactly these types of pics of Elisheva Chaya hiding from the camera. Maybe it's different with grandkids... :-D
