I got back too late from work to go the my exercise class, which I had postponed from yesterday morning. If I hadn't gone to the "teachers union meeting," I would have gotten home hours before. At least I got some info about next year.

I'm very flattered at getting nominated, and I really do appreciate the votes, but I'm not actively campaigning. My hope is that some of the people, whether they vote for me or not, who have checked out my blogs, will decided they like them enough to visit again and again. Nu, you can even comment, so I know what you think. Disagreements are accepted, too. I certainly don't expect everyone to agree with me. Even better, if you quote and link my blogs, just like I'm going to do now...

I was sure that I'd have today off, but I probably have to go to work. Yes, yes, shouldn't complain after weeks of vacation, but it's always hard for me to get back in the saddle! My students sure don't want to learn English.

So, as I drink my morning coffee, I guess it's a good time to see who has been blogging, and I'll mention some.

First a really great post from Life in Israel about the impossible situation with one-upmanship in "chumrot," being "stricter and stricter" following Jewish Law to the point where "new laws" are invented.

The good news is that my freezer freezes really well.

The night before the seder...

Actually, it's morning here, but I took this picture last night, after eating our traditional post-Bedikat Chametz felafel, which my husband brings home from Jerusalem every year. This year, in lieu of extra help, I had extra felafel, as he brought some home last Thursday night, too.

Yesterday I didn't leave the house at all, just cooked and cleaned and took a couple of short, yes very short breaks here at the computer. So after eating, I decided to get out. So armed with my trusty camera in my new "camera case,*" I went for a walk.

Strange, what one finds in the street at night. I think someone was having a very comfortable cookout.

Ever since Mr. Bagel Blogger took up my idea and instituted the JPIX Carnival, I'm extra careful to remember to take pictures and post them. He's amazing; in a recent post, he explains how to fix up your banner with photos. I'm not playing with this one, since ~Sarah~ did such a great job, also on Shiloh Musings. If you've been posting pictures, don't forget to submit your photos for the upcoming JPix 5 which will be on April 9.
