"And in the Winter We'll Complain About The Cold!"

Yes, that's what I said to a neighbor I met as I was walking at nightfall, trying to convince the rare breezes to cool me off.  This is an unusually difficult heat wave for us in the mountains.  It's humid and we're not used to humidity.

Humidity is harder to handle.  The body's instinct is to pull off the clothes, uncover.  Everything feels so sticky.  When it's dry, a modest covering shades us, making us more comfortable.

The weathermen are predicting that it will be more comfortable tomorrow, tomorrow...

Shalom!
I don't complain about the cold the way I do about the heat.
We have had a few odd humid days here in the mountains. I noticed that usually by midday the still rising sun burnt off the humidity.

I complain about the weather, hot and cold. Of course, when I was younger it was different...
