Strange, this used to be my birthday. It no longer feels like it, since we began only celebrating the Hebrew date. Since our holidays are on the Hebrew calendar, we remember and celebrate the births of our kids on the Hebrew dates. The only date I've had trouble transferring is our wedding date; somehow it's etched in English.
When the 6 Day War began, I had no idea that it was on my birthday. Strange way to celebrate. At least now I have all the reminders as people get ready for Yom Yerushalayim, which is two days after my birthday.
I have lots to do today, but no birthday parties.
