Last Tuesday for Ruby Tuesday

It's funny what your eye will spy when you're searching for red to photograph for Ruby Tuesday.

Actually, I was searching my picture CD's for a totally different picture when I noticed this one.  I took it last week when I had joined the packing at A Package from Home, a volunteer group which sends personal supplies to Israeli combat soldiers.  This is the line of gifts for women soldiers.  There are hand-knit scarves here.

On Tuesdays, just post any photo you like (it must be one of your own) that contains the color RED and then link to this blog.

A hand knit scarf is certainly a nice treat!

Marice, yes, though I almost used the pic of the red candy.

Leora, yes. Most of the packers were from abroad in Israel for a Bar Mitzvah or something like that.

I am sure these packages are appreciated. Great to see your photos for this meme.

ilana-davita, jew wishes, shavuatov, thanks! The packing is a fun mitzvah. My youngest once got one of those sorts of gifts in the army and really appreciated it.

Hand-knit scarves? What a wonderful package they're going to get.

We used the electric kettle my husband got as a lonely soldier from some organization or other for years.

Robin, that must have been some gift. These aren't on that level, but we packed hundreds.
