Alternative, Non-Motorized Transportation

There's a Jerusalem bicycle path on Rechov Yaffo, Jaffa Street.  It ends short into a pole, but the intentions are good.  One of my sons rides his bike to work and says that he frequently can make better time than a car.

I've always said that he was born in the wrong century.  He was meant to ride horses.  One of the neighborhood kids has a horse.

I prefer walking.

I love horses--they're my favorite animal (although I haven't ridden for years).
Here I am, up late again on the computer. Oy.

RivkA, it doesn't surprise me. Walking is dull for you. And the son I'm referring to is also a certified swimming instructor and lifeguard.

LL, really? Get to sleep!

a, it's near the old Shaare Tzedek and shuk.

What do you think? Is there some sort of connection between loving the water and loving horses?

I don't know. He wants to study dog training/psychology or something like that. No fear of heights either and very handsome!
