Sad but a Fact of Life

We don't live in a perfect world. The successful, wealthy people have healthier kids. It starts with the fact that they don't have to take into account cost when trying to decide what to buy for themselves and their families. If necessary a wealthy pregnant woman can take a break from work when needed and budget in a maternity leave. But someone at a minimum wage job doesn't usually have such luxury and savings.

Not too long ago, it was all taken for granted as "normal." But now women are complaining. The cashier wants the same rights as the executive. In theory they are right, but what will happen is that it will become harder for young fertile women to get jobs, since the employers won't want the burden of providing clean "pumping facilities" and longer breaks. They'll find "valid" excuses to fire women who may make demands.

Yes, that's life.

The rich get richer and the poor get poorer.
