Scavengers in The Night
I still walk mostly at night or when the sun is going down. The strong sun saps my strength. In the middle of the Jewish Holiday season I spied these cats scavenging for goodies in the trash. We have these giant trash cans every block or so. They are emptied twice a week, a bit more pre-Passover when people tend to throw out a lot more junk. Holidays wreck havoc with the schedule. Those wide-eyed cats seem to be enjoying themselves. Amazingly they didn't even flee when I approached.
I just had to add this Frank Sinatra video singing "Strangers in the Night." You can hear his age, but there's no one else to sing it.
