The Real Hevel Havelim From The Real Shaliach
Yes, the real thing, really. And we were really on shlichut once, too. OK, that was before many of you jbloggers were even born.
But this is really about the latest Havel Havelim presented on a real blog called the Real Shaliach, really.
I guess I ought to reel this in...

Really?
Seriously, you did a great job.
I wasn't sure people would like the way I did it, and it's heartening to know that people seemed to like it.
You made an effort to read everything, and you should read Incomplete. It was clearly not just an instant carnival listing.
Incomplete was one of the posts?
And I quote:
"muse gave us a guest post at Shiloh Musings entitled Incomplete. You want to know what the post is talking about? Go read it yourself. It's 3:30 AM now and I'm entitled to be lazy."
Fine, I'll go read it. Heck, it's only 1:08, right?
Read it. Agree 100%. The Israeli government is a bunch of crooks.
OK, real, I'm glad you like it. Now, quickly tell your readers how great and important it is, 1st person account from Netivot, and then get to sleep. I guess you're just in the wrong time zone.
What's wrong with my timezone?
Diasporan rather than HolyLandian.
this I knew. The question is, why is it wrong?
M'daraita:
"Lech Lecha.."
You sound like my birthright tourguide. I would love to move to Israel, but until every last Jew in chutz l'aretz has been brought back to their father in heaven...
How about helping the lost Jews in the Holy Land?
There already is chabad there-and they speak Hebrew well too!
Yes, but there's never enough, and there are many wandering Jews who speak English. Be the magnet here to bring them all home.
And the Jews in chutz l'aretz?
They'll be attracted to all the spiritual action here, like the great aliyah post-6 Days War.
If only that were true...
You need faith.
Shabbat Shalom u'Mevorach
I don't quite see how faith comes into the picture here. Basically, there's a problem, yes? Yes. We have to solve that problem. Running away to Israel is not going to solve that problem.
We see things from very different perspectives. I live in Shiloh, where the fragrent Ketoret is still in the air.
You're in golus.
The shechina is very strong here, and I doubt if you can imagine...
Shavua Tov
Hey-! I was in Israel too. I mean...listen, this is an age-old argument, and neither of us will convince the other, so let's just agree that we're both right and work together to bring moshiach?
Shavua Tov
AMEN, and when you're next in Israel, you're invited to Shiloh!
hey there! SHALOM from an old freind
nuch, how are you?
